That's exactly what Tamera Foster had in mind when she showcased her new 80's inspired corkscrew curls at the Benny and Jolene premiere in London on Friday.
The young singer was almost unrecognizable thanks to her hair-over, which looked like she could of taken a inspiration from Beyonce, who occasionally wears her hair in a natural afro.

rose to fame on the last season of the X Factor, with a variety of
hairstyles, from blond to light brown, but it seems the young singer has
a more natural style in mind for now, perhaps due to recently turning
17 this month.
Wearing a tight fitting off the shoulder black dress the star channeled a 70's disco vibe, despite the look originating long before she was born.
Tamera, who celebrated her birthday this month, tweeted a picture of her smiling on her way to the premiere: 'On my way to the Benny & Jolene Premiere with @rachaelfoster3 & @hattkat ! Eyes out for photos !xx'
The
film's two leads are Craig Roberts who plays Benny and Charlotte
Ritchie as Jolene. Charlotte stars in hit channel 4 comedy Fresh Meat,
