
The prosecutor, Insp. Joseph Ahua, told the court that one Abako Matthew of Ado Nkasa Phase 1, New Karu, reported the matter at the New Karu Police Station.
Ahua said that the accused persons, who also live at Ado Nkasa Phase 1, New Karu, conspired and threatened to kill Mathew during a misunderstanding on Jan. 12.
He said the offence is punishable under sections 97 and 397 of the Penal Code.
If convicted, the accused will be liable to imprisonment for up to 10 years or a fine or both.
The accused however pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Magistrate, Mr Habila Abundaga, admitted each accused to bail in the sum of N100,000 and one surety in like sum.
He ordered that the sureties must be resident within the jurisdiction of the court and adjourned the case to Feb. 17 for further hearing
